Steve Masterson serves as a court-appointed fiduciary, providing neutral, third-party, administration of Trusts and Estates. In addition, he provides consulting services to families, attorneys, and fiduciaries in a variety of estate planning and trust administration environments. Steve has served as an expert witness for a variety of trust and estate litigation matters. Finally, Steve has completed interest-based mediation training and is available to serve as a mediator for trust and estate disputes.
Steve has over 37 years experience managing a wide variety of trust and estate assets, designing estate plans for high net worth clients, and creating custom financial solutions for unique family circumstances. This experience includes trust and estate administration, fiduciary taxation, both fiduciary income tax and federal estate tax, application of the provisions of the Uniform Principal and Income Act, application of the provisions of the Uniform Prudent Investor Act, fiduciary discretionary decisions, and fiduciary asset management and disposition.
